**You can make changes to your team without a charge if submitted by July 30th. Changes made Aug 1-Aug 31 will be charged $30 per team change, each time you make a change. ABSOLUTELY NO RELAY CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED AFTER AUGUST 31.
You must be a member of USA Triathlon to compete in the race, including each relay member. If you do not have an annual membership, you must purchase a one-day membership for $12 during the registration process.
The race is a USAT sanctioned race so USAT rules are in effect. You must wear an ANSI-approved helmet during the entire cycling event. Headphones for music are prohibited during the race.

You must be 17 years old or older to participate in the TOUGHMAN race (or 15 years old to be part of a relay team). Race age is determined by how old you will be on 12/31 of the current year, which means you may be in an older age group than your current age.

You must bring photo proof of identity and your USAT card if you have one. YOU CANNOT SEND SOMEONE ELSE TO PICK UP FOR YOU!
You are required to bring photo proof of identity. There are no entry transfers or substitutions.
Participants who swap or sell their race number without going through the race management, will not be allowed to race and lose all entry fees as well as be subject to disciplinary action by USAT.
Steps to Print a temporary USAT card for current USAT members:
1. Go to: usatriathlon.org
2. Login using your email address and password (top left-hand corner homepage)
3. Click on "My Account" on the right side of the page
4. Once the page loads click on "Print Temporary Card" (the 7th link on left-hand side of page)
You may check your bike into transition on Saturday 2-7pm (again, highly suggested but NOT mandatory). Overnight security is provided.
First wave goes off Sunday morning at 6:45 am. There will be approximately 6-8 waves by age groups with 3 minutes in between each wave. Transition open 5 - 6:20 AM on Sunday morning.
There are 18 aid stations on the run course and a bottle exchange at the 18, 23 (water only) and 36 mile mark on the bike course. Aid is as follows:

During the race, there will be port-a-jonhs located at mile 18 and mile 36 on the bike. As will as the transition area exit and at miles: 2 ,4 ,6, 8, 10, 11 of the run.
