TOUGHMAN rides with Unlimited Biking on bike rental & shipping

TOUGHMAN Enterprises has announced Unlimited Biking as its official bike rental and shipping partner for TOUGHMAN NY 2020. As part of the deal with the series’ championship event, Unlimited Biking will be on hand to provide bikes to all athletes traveling to TOUGHMAN NY or to ship athletes’ bikes to the site.

“Having a bike shipping and rental company that already supports the TD 5 Boro Bike Tour and GFNY World Championship come on board for TOUGHMAN NY will help grow the numbers of international athletes that choose TOUGHMAN NY as their destination event for 2020,” said Richard Izzo Founder of the TOUGHMAN series.

Now with more than a dozen locations in North and South America, this year’s TOUGHMAN half iron triathlon series will once again kick off in South America. Beginning on March 31st, the first race in the series will occur in Futrono, Chile.

The next TOUGHMAN will take place in Copiapo, Chile, and the series then moves to the US in Ohio before returning to the Pan American TOUGHMAN Championship in Arica Chile in June.

According to Richard Izzo, “TOUGHMAN continues to grow in a difficult environment for triathlon due to having race directors of superior quality that represent the brand. The opportunity to market as a group, attract series sponsors and get cost cutting line items due to scale are all the benefits of joining TOUGHMAN.”

Izzo added that he is looking for new race locations in new areas that will offer independent race directors this opportunity.

The South America TOUGHMAN races that will form the Southern circuit include: Futrono, Copiapo, Arica, Quillon and Iquique with a Championship in Arica in June 2020. All races qualify athletes to the TOUGHMAN NY Championship on September 13th 2020 in New York.
